Noon Gun 2008
Bursting with melon aromas, this crisp white from award winner Bruce Jack is wonderful with any dish.
Longitude 2006
Another from Bruce Jack, this smooth, juicy red finishes with a chocolately explosion. Wicked with any food
The Observer – 7th December 2008 – Tim Aitken p.109
Flagstone Knock On Wood Red Reserve 2007
A sweetly oaked blockbuster blend of four varieties with bags of minty, plumy fruit.
Square Meal Lifestyle - 1st November 2008 - p.63
Treaty Tree Chef's Red Reserve 2006
On the nose, there is an explosion of attractive plum fruit and dark berries. Spicy undertones and hints of crushed cashew nuts and fresh mint help to give this wine dimension. The palate is all about silky tannins and length. Bright flavours of plums and berries, combined with subtle tannins, make it effortlessly smooth, finishing with unexpected power and a lingering blast of chocolate that goes on and on.
The Guardian Magazine - 20th September 2008 - Victoria Moore
Flagstone Noon Gun 2007 (3 stars out of 5)
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling are the major partners in this blend of six white grapes that is more than the sum of its parts. With its floral notes and echoing palate, it's a wine that you could drink anywhere.
International Wine & Spirit Competition (Southern Hemisphere) - October 2008
Flagstone Free Run Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Pale green/gold. Nettles, green pepper with flint and hints of gooseberries. Bright and active in the mouth with pepper and spice dancing all around. Aromas of cracked granite and freshly turned river sand hover in the background. Will develop with great attraction. Allow another year then treat yourself. In the meantime it makes a fine aperitif.

Flagstone, Free Run Sauvignon Blanc 2007 Elim 16 Drink 2008
Very clean and bracing but with a little hint of sweetness. Perhaps just slightly too oily for purists? Good, clean Sauvignon Blanc flavours. (This comes from one of the newer cool areas on the south coast.)
Flagstone, Noon Gun 2007 Somerset West 15 Drink 2008
Sauvignon is the dominant aroma. Can't quite see why this is better than a 100% Sauvignon... but well put together, if slightly raw.
Decanter - 1st October 2008 (Lynne Sherriff)
Flagstone Knock-On Wood White 2007
Pale green. Peas, asparagus with slight flintiness. An appealing nose. Full entry, great balance. Subtle oak. Nice concentration with a long length.
Susan Goodson, North West Evening Mail, 3rd March 2008
Flagstone The Berrio Sauvignon Blanc 2007
A modern South African classic? Maybe. This is the epitome of South African Style of Sauvignon, a blend of New World opulence and exotic fruit with a steeliness borrowed from Europe. The style is all the more exuberant from Elim - quite possibly South Africa's best spot for this kind of wine. I suspect in years to come people will be proud to say that they were among the first to have tried the Berrio.
